A new story has appeared in the castle! I got a message earlier that the people of the castle were hearing singing, but nobody could figure out who was doing it, which is a sure sign of a story being nearby. So off to the castle I went.
Sure enough, as I entered I could hear singing. It was a bright, catchy sort of tune, but the people in charge of the castle workers were becoming annoyed. Their workers were just singing along and dancing and not doing their jobs at all. I knew that if the people were getting caught up in the music, then the other stories hidden around the castle would not be far behind, and chaos would ensue.
So, I followed the sound, which was difficult to pinpoint, but I had my special ability for finding stories to guide me along. I headed through the great hall where people were dancing on the tables and in the aisles. It was very noisy in there, but I knew that it wasn’t the source of the noise. Dodging the dancers, I found my way to the back of the room and through one of the doors that you have probably seen before but could not walk through because I wouldn’t let you.
Well, I’ll let you open the door now because after emerging in the area beyond (go to the castle for yourself if you want to know what the area is), I followed the sound to one of the windows in the back and sure enough, there was a story below, singing away.
It liked the meadow and it liked singing, but when I explained the disruption the catchy tunes were causing, it agreed to sing a bit more quietly. Don’t worry, though, you won’t have any problems finding the story if you follow my path.
This story is a slightly different twist on an old favorite, and I’m sure you’ll find it refreshing, and yes, the music will certainly get stuck in your head.
