This post is unusual. Do you know why? What I’m doing is a tricky thing. This post is not a first of its kind, but it is difficult to accomplish. To do a thing such as this, you must firmly grasp your brain and its functions and monitor all that your habits taught you up until now. Constant scrutinization is important. A book with lists of synonyms is also handy, though I am proud to say I did this task without such a book at hand. Control-f was a constant companion, though, as was the undo button.
Do you now know what is unusual about this post? A lack of a common thing is highly obvious by now. Look back at my writing in this post. You will not find it. Not at all.
Why, you might ask, would I do such a thing? To which I say, Ha! You just did it, too!
Why not, is what I thought. It’s an opportunity to work out my brain. It’s also fun. It’s assisting with my ability to accomplish that which is just within my grasp.
Go try this! It’s not intimidating, though it is a bit limiting. You must think in a way that you probably won’t do again, but this might aid you in stopping your writing block. You must also go into this knowing that any writing you do in this way may sound a bit awkward. That’s normal. You may also find that rambling occurs as you push your writing forward. This is also normal. This is not a typical form of writing, but you will adapt to it quickly.
I now ask you to click this button. It will show you to a cool world with varying paths which will allow you to find a story or two. Now go, so I can put a stop to this limitation.
Did you figure it out? Other than this sentence, I didn’t use the letter “e” when writing this post. Now you go try it!
