One Year Anniversary – The Clockwork Shop is Now Open

It has been one year since Stories Keep became available to your world. Thanks to those of you who have been along all this time, and to those of you who joined along the way. And, as promised, there is a new world now open to mark the occasion. The portal has calmed down, and this post should be getting to you at the proper time. Please take a moment to savor the irony of how this portal that kept messing with time has opened at the exact day and minute that it was supposed to.

I’m very good at my job.

This new world is simply known as the Clockwork Shop. It is a perfectly normal shop that sells perfectly normal clocks. You’ll find it to be identical to just about any other shop that sells clocks.

The shops of your world deal with time travel and other time phenomenon, right?

No?

Well, then. Your shops should give it a try.

Anyway, There are three stories that are already in the Clockwork Shop, just waiting for someone to discover them. The shop has a main area where you will see the man who runs it, and it has four rooms that each deal with a different aspect of time. Only three of these rooms are available to you right now because the fourth one doesn’t have any stories at the moment.

I took two new stories inside the shop, and they were immediately drawn to the appropriate rooms. They gawked at all the clocks, greeted the proprietor, and one of them started setting off alarm clocks. The other one was drawn to a watch hidden among the clocks only after it spent a solid five minutes tearing through the place. Luckily, the proprietor understands stories, so he was more than happy to let them wander through and be chaotic.

There is a third story that you may be familiar with already. It is in the mansion, but it has a special connection to this world as well, so it has its own special portal that allows it to link to both. See if you can find it! It will be more than happy to show off how it connects to two different worlds at once.

And don’t worry, there are a few more stories that are lining up to go into this new world, so there will soon be more to find. In fact, there’s one at my elbow right now. It’s demanding to know when it can go into the shop because it is fairly certain of where it wants to hang out. I think it just wants to cause chaos.

Here’s to another year and many more stories. Now go see the shop!
